Looking at poems, by others or myself, the imagery of my fascination is arranged. With a strong preference for the inanimate, I question the initial meaning of the image; repeating a fountain or an orange in an eclectic way, emptying the initial connotation, and bringing it on the verge of abstraction. By emphasising on subtle and tranquil details, a place for contemplation emerges. Not as a way of escapism, but as a garden in a city, a still point.
